The Tori Classic Shirt is a refined piece in luxuriously applique Chanderi, offering a timeless design with an embroidered Peter Pan collar, pleated front, and gathered sleeves with tie-ups. Its versatile silhouette allows it to pair effortlessly with trousers, skirts, or denim, making it a polished choice for any occasion.

Indulge in luxury with the Tori Classic Shirt. Crafted from a blend of cotton and silk, this Ivory shirt features an elegant Peter Pan collar and delicate embroidery and appliqué details. With a sleeve tie up and pleat detail on the placket, this shirt exudes sophistication. The look is complete with the exquisite Mother of Pearl buttons. 

Each piece is a masterpiece of artistry, with over 25 hours dedicated to intricate embroidery alone, followed by meticulous stitching—an ode to the time, skill, and dedication poured into its creation.

THE DESIGNER STORY

Inspired by the Japanese ideology of wabi-sabi, referring to that which is imperfect, impermanent, aged, humble and authentic, Ahmev carries an aesthetic that embraces the value of the passing of time, the seasoning of time and the elements, the handmade and the simple. Wabi-sabi is a way of being open to emotions and of acceptance; a state of mind and a state of feeling. The philosophy of wabi sabi is embodied in the design process, being showcased in the finished designs through the subtle hues, natural materials, frayed edges and the visible stitching and asymmetry.
