Adorned with intricate shell tucks, the yoke creates a beautiful focal point, flowing gently into a soft and flattering applique silhouette. The top’s graceful drape offers versatility, easily transitioning from casual settings to more formal occasions with effortless sophistication.
Indulge in luxury with our Kaeru Yoke Top in elegant ivory. Made from a blend of cotton and silk, with a cotton lining, this top features gorgeous gathered sleeves and a shell tuck yoke adorned with delicate appliqué. The look is complete with the back organza tie-up.
Each piece is a masterpiece of artistry, with over 16 hours dedicated to intricate embroidery alone, followed by meticulous stitching—an ode to the time, skill, and dedication poured into its creation.
THE DESIGNER STORY
Inspired by the Japanese ideology of wabi-sabi, referring to that which is imperfect, impermanent, aged, humble and authentic, Ahmev carries an aesthetic that embraces the value of the passing of time, the seasoning of time and the elements, the handmade and the simple. Wabi-sabi is a way of being open to emotions and of acceptance; a state of mind and a state of feeling. The philosophy of wabi sabi is embodied in the design process, being showcased in the finished designs through the subtle hues, natural materials, frayed edges and the visible stitching and asymmetry.
