A remarkable piece of craftsmanship, the patchwork dress stands as a masterpiece formed from an assortment of diverse fabrics seamlessly blending into a harmonious whole. Each patch is meticulously adorned with hand-printed motifs and lace embellishments, showcasing the enchanting beauty within its intricate pattern. The dress boasts a relaxed fit that exudes both comfort and grace simultaneously. It serves as a tribute to skillful artistry and the boundless potential of creativity.

Hand-screened in ivory chanderi with lace and running stitch details, this dress boasts a wide flare hem and gathered waist for a flattering fit. The  Mother of Pearl buttons add the perfect finishing touches, making this dress a true work of art. It comes with an inner cotton slip dress. The dress is lined. 

THE DESIGNER STORY

Inspired by the Japanese ideology of wabi-sabi, referring to that which is imperfect, impermanent, aged, humble and authentic, Ahmev carries an aesthetic that embraces the value of the passing of time, the seasoning of time and the elements, the handmade and the simple. Wabi-sabi is a way of being open to emotions and of acceptance; a state of mind and a state of feeling. The philosophy of wabi sabi is embodied in the design process, being showcased in the finished designs through the subtle hues, natural materials, frayed edges and the visible stitching and asymmetry.
