CURATOR'S NOTE

A chic one-shoulder dress crafted from soft Bemberg fabric, featuring gathered detailing and a tie-up on one side for an adjustable, flattering fit. Style it on its own for a sleek evening look, or layer it over a fitted top for a trendy twist.

This product is made in Delhi with a fair wage factory. The factory specializes in small-scale production, where waste generation is reduced, and factory waste is upcycled into patchwork fabric. Each piece may come with an extra embroidery or patch but the overall look and feel of the piece are not changed. These pieces are a part of a limited edition collection, the stock is made till the raw material is available. 

THE DESIGNER STORY

Recycling has always been a deeply rooted tradition and part of our lives, be it the tradition of making Kantha quilts out of the old clothing or transforming your mother's vintage sarees into a trendy attire. We have always valued the resources we had and loved to be a part of it and felt connected to the old charm and warmth, but all that is changing. Increasing industrialization, globalization, fast fashion, and ever-growing buying power among people have popularized a culture of quick disposable fashion.

The label DOODLAGE is a blend of sustainable and exclusive high street fashion. The brand aims to merge innovative designs with a sustainable technique of clothing to make fashion not just chic, but also Eco-friendly. The brand works at re-designing, re-constructing and recycling good quality industrial waste which majority comprises of post-production waste, deadstock and rejected shipments making sure that every product has its own identity.

Care Instructions: These fabrics are hand dyed in small batches. Please hand wash seperately it might bleed some color, dry clean to preserve colour. Hang dry in shade.
